Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Funding for the Highway Trust Fund

Highways and Transit Subcommittee Chairman David Rouzer (R-NC) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine the need for a long-term funding solution for the Highway Trust Fund (HTF). Members will have the opportunity to discuss the challenges with the HTF's current funding mechanism and consider other funding options. The hearing entitled “America Builds: The Need for a Long-Term Solution for the Highway Trust Fund,” will be held at 10:15 a.m. ET on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
